Top Gear is back tonight with the first episode in Series 21
Sunday nights haven’t been the same without Top Gear, but it’s back tonight – Sunday 2nd February 2014 – with the first episode of series 21. Yes, Top gear comes of age. Mercedes-Benz reveals the updated G Class for 2012 with two new AMG models – the V8 Mercedes G 63 AMG and V12 Mercedes G 65 AMG. The Mercedes G Class may have been around since dinosaurs walked the planet, but Mercedes don’t want to let it go and with every new tweak they make the G Class gets even more desirable. Which defies logic.

It’s only a year since Maserati whisked the covers off the delectable Granturismo and the Italians are unveiling a new, more powerful version. The Granturismo S receives a heart transplant from the sister company Alfa Romeo – in the shape of the 4.7-litre V8 from the 8C supercar. The extra half litre provides more muscle, power rising to 434bhp, compared with the regular Granturismo’s sundry 400bhp. Maserati hasn’t issued performance figures ahead of the car’s Geneva show debut next week, but it’ll clearly be supercar-quick, with a 0-60mph time in less than five seconds.
